Divers must be certified by PADI or MAUI. You can become dive certified in Drake bay; however, the course takes 3 days so we recommend a short term stay in Drake for certification prior to the tour..
Transportation for this tour is expensive (especially if you’re coming from Matapalo); however, the tour is worth it! In order to make it to Drake on time, you will need to leave Matapalo no later than 4:30am. The roundtrip cost for the taxi is $320.00, and your driver will wait for you until you return from the tour.
